I choose to think not. I believe that there are other ways.

I am not the judge of what people choose to eat in other cultures. I am against the inhumane way of the slaughter house. In my opinion the way horses are treated from the point of pick up to their final breath is totally unacceptable. Cruelty is never the answer.

We must join together to protect the these animals. We must learn that to purchase an animal is a lifetime (theirs) commitment. We must also learn to breed responsibly. It is not necessary to over populate. Be sure that when you breed a mare you have a place for that foal to go.

This is just the beginning to the answer to the unwanted horse. I will follow up with more of my opinions later.
